GUA MUSANG: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek has voiced confidence that voters here can discern between the party which actually serves them and those that “merely appear during by-elections”.
He cited how the DAP would always provide misleading information to the electorate, thus driving a wedge between the Federal Government and the people.
Pakatan Rakyat, he said, tend to “not do what they say.”
Dr Chua stressed that each by-election was important because no single constituency would remain a political party’s safe seat indefinitely.
“The response from the Chinese voters is satisfactory but for the MCA, the support does not come naturally and we will have to continue to work hard for it.”
“The Galas by-election is highly important to us,” he told reporters after meeting voters in Kampung Baru Gua Musang yesterday morning before ending his three-day visit to the Galas constituency.
