蔡细历:马华非与行动党同一阵线,只希望课题可以尽快解决
MCA is not sharing same stand with DAP but merely voicing out the issue so that it can be resolved as soon as possible
MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek today clarified that MCA does not share the same stand with DAP on the call to lift the ban on the use of "Allah" by non-Muslims.
He said MCA had held a dialogue with the Christian Federation of Malaysia during the Party's Presidential Council last week and that the non-governmental organisation (NGO) felt that there is a need for the issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
Dr Chua explained that MCA is only voicing out the wish of the NGO since the issue has not been resolved when it was brought up last year.
"We are not making the same stand with DAP. We only want to the Barisan Nasional Government to resolve the issue as soon as possible so that it will not be further exploited by the opposition," he added.

Spin as you may, MCA has but again and again demonstrated that it is subservient to UMNO, although they keep singing the song that MCA are equal to UMNO in the Alliance that brought Merdeka to Malaysia.
What is the point of MCA existence ? What is the point we vote for you ?
If you disbanded, it would have help the community better, as there won't be anymore MCA to pull the wool over our eyes.
And you made a U turn on this issue... well, it looks like it anyway.
So, why dont you tell DPM to shut up. What is that DPM talking about? People shouldnt talk about it because it is a court issue now and it will create racial tension? Oh Come On la.. we are not cows... Ok..no offence to cows.. but only really stupid recalcitrant would react irationally to such things la. Tell that DPM to grow up!! He and his whole group of recalcitrant goonies cannot accept the court's earlier decision to allow Allah to be used by non-Muslim.. What does that say about accepting court's decision from someone who is suppose to set a good example?
And you! Please dont make such "charlie chickerdee" stunt in future. It corrodes the self esteem of the chinese. Sia suay is an understatement! If anything, stand up for what is right even if it is taking the same stand as any opposition party!! The people are not bothered about the parties.. The people are only bothered about issues close to heart.
The Opposition has no problem taking the same stand with the ruling party if the issue is correct. LEARN FROM THAT!! It is about the issue and not about the parties and the people want to see that MCA is able to be rationale and just about any issues close to heart.
So, can we see some maturity from MCA?
Another thing, what is with the latest fiasco in PKFTZ? Why are we paying? Be brave to do the right thing! Most people know what is the right thing to do and by not doing the right thing, you can kiss your chances of gaining support from the many chinese goodbye!
Dr Chua,
The issue at hand is more important. Whether it is deliberate or coincidence does not matter.
Anyway, what is so bad about sharing your stand with DAP if it is for the greater good of all Malaysians. What is more important is MCA makes its stand.
The old methods don't work anymore and BN, especially UMNO had better realise it. That's why MCA has lost a lot of support and UMNO is following suit. GERAKAN is done with already.
I am VERY sure you know about this but your hands and mouth are tied.
Why not jump ship? Better still, take the ship along with you!Look at CJM, he is free to articulate his views and is consistent.
