Perak Political Drama Takes A Turn

The political drama in Perak becomes more messy now. The court rules that Nizar is the MB. We have to respect the decision of the court. It also goes to demonstrate that our court is free of political interference. It is a good sign for the judiciary. We should not have the attitude that when the court decides for the government, it is not fair and when it decides against the government, it is justice.

Nizar should now convene a state assembly to see whether he enjoys the support of the majority of the state assemblyman. Who knows there maybe some katak politicians who may take this opportunity to jump ship again. If he fails to command the majority of the state assemblyman, then he can:

1) Resign as the MB, Seek an audience with the Sultan to dissolve the assembly and call for fresh election or;

2) Resign as the MB and let the party who enjoys the support of the majority of state assemblyman to be the MB.

Dissolving the state assembly and calling for fresh election will require the consent of the Sultan. Nizar is unlikely to convene an emergency meeting since he is likely to face a vote of no confidence. BN will definitely push for an emergency state assembly sitting.

BN can choose to appeal to the High Court ruling and this may then drag on effectively rendering the Pakatan state government ineffective.

Personally, I feel that a fresh state election will be the best way to resolve this stalemate. Let the rakyat decides and once for all, we resolve this problem, which is not doing anybody any good.

Dear Datuk Seri Dr Chua.

You know that the first thing that Nizar did was to ask for the dissolution of the State Assembly.

It is BN who is trying to tie everything in a legal mess. Where is the goodwill to resolve the problem.

By the way, Maybe you should move to Gerakan. I think Gerakan can do with a person of your calibre.

"It also goes to demonstrate that our court is free of political interference."

Can we conclude from this single case that our court is free of political interference?

If I have a badminton match with Lin Dan and the linesmen are biased in favour of me. Lin Dan can still win the match easily. Does it mean the linesmen are not biased?

Howeve, I agree with you that a fresh state election will be the best way to resolve this stalemate.

Dr. Chua,

Your article a little late and maybe you are not in the "know"

The Court of Appeal has granted a stay super lightning fast. This is a stay for a judgement against the position of MB. MB is a very powerful position as you have seen in the recent state assembly fiasco of BN.

Under no circumstances a stay should be granted, expedite the hearing by all means after all you have the govt machinery behind you

Now the rest of the world that has not already laughed at us will laugh at us.

This a circus now and you can guess who is the ring master

Dear Dr Chua,

You said: There have been many attempts by Parti Keadilan Rakyat leaders to make me jump ship. But I have not reached the crossroads yet. When I am about to jump, I will let you know," he said in a "live" chat with New Straits Times readers.

Malaysians said: " It is better Dr Chua to rescue himself from the sinking Titanic BN corrupted ship now. otherwise, your MCA goons will
jump faster to PR if they smell smoke from fire in BN ship. As mentioned by former MCA Head, Ong Ka Tin that UMNO goons have been a BIG Bully toward MCA leaders and Chinese communities for past 5 decades. Does Dr Chua still want to stay as a doggy pet in UMNO teams, to be bullied and kicked like a stray dog soon if your popularity is gone in MCA ? Yes. Ong Tee Keat has keep his big mouth shut up by UMNO goons. He dared not open his vocal mouth again unlike his junior time in MCA.

IN SHORT, IT IS A GOOD FUTURE FOR YOUR JR CHUA TO JUMP SHIP AND JOIN DAP OR KEADILAN SINCE THE NEW GENERATION OF MALAYSIANS WANT TO CHANGE AND ACCEPT DAP AND KEADILAN AS THEIR NEW TREND PARTIES IN MALAYSIA.

OOPS! OLD BN JUNK SHIPS ARE TIME TO CALL BACK TO THE MUZIUM NEGARA FOREVER. BN IS A ROTTEN SHIP WITH CORRUPTED TRACK RECORDS WITH NO HOPE TO REVIVE AGAIN.

THE NEW SLOGAN TODAY IS
"1BLACK MALAYSIA, DEMOCRACY FIRST, ELECTION NOW"......EEE HAAA !!! PERAKIANS OVERJOYED WITH THE HIGH COURT DECISION TO RETAIN NIZAR AS GOOD MB AND REMOVE HARAM ZOMBIE OUT OF PERAK.

BRAVO! THE PEOPLE WON AGAIN!
MAKKAL SAKTI // PEOPLE POWER TODAY

As we all comment on this, the Court of Appeal with a "SUPER HIGH EFFICIENCY WHICH PROBABLY BROKE THE WORLD RECORD" granted a "stay order", that means the Zamry tak sah fella is still the MB...what the crap man!!! When PR filed the appeal in High court, it took months until May 11 to give the verdict, when BN filed an appeal, it was like IMMEDIATE!!

Salutations, salutations, that's the "It also goes to demonstrate that our court is free of political interference." - REALLY CRAP!!!

But Dr Chua, I agree that Perak state assembly shud be dissolved and get this settled once and for all - Bottleneck here is the BN is hijacking all country's system to grant things in favor of Barisan Nasional, and BN won't dissolve it...WHO IS THE EVIL here - Barian Nasional!!!!

When Nizar won the court order yesterday, first thing he did was to meet with the Sultan and ask for dissolution of the state assembly, that shows PR is not power-crazy, they RESPECT the RAKYAT and let RAKYAT decide!!

THE CHIEF CULPRIT here is Mr. N and his cronies who propagate so-called "1Malaysia" in front but instead playing all the dirty tricks at the back!!

BN current leadership is utterly despicable and have no sincerity in resolving the deadlock at all!

Your comment: Personally, I "feel" that......may I ask what is your party's official stand on this?
MCA is the 2nd biggest component party but with no official stand on this issue.

Don't waste our time by telling us what you feel, you should tell all of us what you or your party can or will do, then we will have more respect for MCA.

Dr Chua,

We are not that naive, doing either choice 1 or 2 will give the opportunity for BN to take over the State Gov without a re-election.
When the state assembly was dissolved, the MB post will be automatically vacant (so we do not see any reason why Nizar had to resign at all). Of course as everybody expect, PR team is preparing a full name list of candidate which they can trust and hold a bind to a possible new law that they must resign as MP if they jump ship (so no more Kataks).
Don't you agree this is the best option if BN really wants the Rakyat to choose and be diplomatic?

Go ahead with the legal appeal crap. Even a common person on the street also can see who is right and who is wrong.

Continue this legal battle is like digging a grave. The more one dig the deeper it is until he the grave digger cannot get out and will be bury alive in the next Tsunami.

Our short sighted leaders will win the battle but loss the war, big... real big

After 3 months or more than 100days of this PErak Coup De Tat drama, now only you felt that

'A fresh state election will be the best way to resolve this stalemate. Let the rakyat decides and once for all, we resolve this problem, which is not doing anybody any good.'

Will you be too slow?
Oh sorry, I just forgot this is the MCA's Culture of acting slow.

Just like the PriceWaterhouse Report on the PKFZ scandal, which also need to take such a long time and till now yet to show to the public!

Good Culture! Pls Keep it!

Soi Lek, it is the general view of the people both in Perak and the other states of Malaysia that fresh election in Perak be held to decide once and for all who should be the legitimate state government. The BN has been trying to hold on to the orchestrated power grab and fearful that fresh election would probably reduced them to obscurity in Perak. Remember, legitimate government is of the people, for the people and by the people. Let the people of Perak choose their representatives in the government.

The reason why they prefer not to have fresh re-election is bloody clear. Go and ask the Anty selling nasi lemak on the street.

Just remember these sort of leaders and let them know what you think in the next GE which is not too far away

saya amat menyokong pandangan dato;sri terhadap masalah politik di negeri perak.pandangan saya Barisan Nasional guna taktik kotor untuk mendapatkan nubuh kerajaan negeri. sebagai ahli mca amat sakit hati ,kerana kecuali hanya Team B berani sunggguh bagi comment. manakala Team A (ong tee kiat) beliau sibuk tutup kes kes masalah pelabuhan kelang. kenapa beliau sibuk sangat tutup kes pelabuhan.> semua orang tahu... kerana beliau hanya PRESIDENT MCA 1 PENGGAL....

Come on lar Dr Chua....one case only and u said the judiciary is free from political interference? We the rakyat are not stupid!! Don't insult our intelligent.

Can't u see the bigger picture? Not to mention that VK Lingam said something about Justice Ramly in the recorded conversation. Is that the very same judge who granted Zambry the stay??...or...can u just check how remarkably efficient the court is when Zambry requested for the stay? and how painful it was for Nizar to get his appeal to be heard by the court? Any of these come to ur sense?

Gosh....I honestly think all BN leaders are still in the state of denial!! Wake up guys...!!!

問文 said...

問文 said...
